The Pad
The Pad is a two story, four bedroom, two bath house. It is located in the Tahoe Keys. The place is very nice, and BRAND NEW! The house has a fully equipped kitchen, entertainment system, and a hottub (currently being installed). The house is generally quite large, with room for guests to sleep. In the four bedrooms, there are three queen beds and a pair of bunk beds. The two upstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed and room for another queen bed. In this extra space we will be putting either air mattresses or futons.
The house has pleanty of parking for 4-5 cars, but due to the heavy snow, we have contracted a local man to plow the driveway when more than 6 inches of snow fall. He will charge about $40 per plow (to be confirmed ASAP), which will be added to the bill.
In order to keep the place (clean, on top of the good job we will do of cleaning up after ourselves) we are going to empoly a bi-weekly maid service. This maid service will cost $50 per cleaning, and will be added to the bill. Also, we ask that people take their shoes off before entering the house, and that snowboards, skies, and other wet gear be kept on the carpet laid out by the back door.
Before You Leave:
If you are the last one out of the house for the day, there are few things you need to be sure to do before you leave. Make sure the heat is turned off! make sure all the appliances/TV are turned off. Make sure the place is clean. Also, we need to figure out how we are going to manage the "clean sheet situation"
Damages:
Since the house is brand new there really aren't any damages. Those few concerns found when we took posession of the house were noted to the owner and will not be held against us. If any damages are incurred while you are present, please speak up. Probably the best way is to send a group email.. We have a $2000.00 damage deposit and want to get as much of it back as possible. We are on the honor system, so be honorable.
The Website:
This web site is an informal way to help keep track of the Pad. Any suggestions are welcome. If anyone wants to help contribute, that is welcome as well. Feel free to mail me at Greg@ski.org.
