Dr. Simon is a speech pathologist and audiologist, holding dual certification. She has expertise in hearing aid, binaural hearing and speech perception research. Her most recent publications have been in the areas of speech perception, binaural hearing (localization and lateralization) aging, psychoacoustics with the hearing-impaired and multi-channel compression hearing aids. She has been a principle investigator on four federally funded grants.
