The Objective
Work in this laboratory is devoted to researching facts and developing tools to help the rehabilitation of people with macular vision loss.

	Vision assessment after macular vision loss--The Macular Mapping Test (completed).
	Focal attention and letter recognition in the retinal periphery in normally-sighted young subjects (completed).
	Focal attention and letter recognition in the retinal periphery in elderly subjects and patients with Age-Related Maculopathy [ARM] (current).
	Focal attention and letter recognition in the retinal periphery in patients with juvenile maculopathy [M. Stargardt] and ARM (completed).
	The topographies of the transient and sustained attentional mechanisms and their dependence on age (current).
	Optimizing conditions for reading with the retinal periphery after binocular foveal vision loss (current).
	The dyslexia project.
