strange eyes

Photo of a young man, squinting his eyes in the sun.

Human

The human eye provides 4/5 of the sensory input received by the brain. Images are projected upside-down onto the retina, then the brain interprets them right-side up. The eyes are protected by tears that wash out dust, and by the eyelids, which close when a foreign object approaches the eyes.
