Dr. Miele is an alumnus of the University of California at Berkeley where he received this BA in Physics and his Ph.D. in Psychoacoustics. He is currently an Associate Scientist at The Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute's Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center where he is conducting research in the areas of tactile maps and auditory displays.
