Celebrating the Life of Dr. Hoover Chan

Please join us for a memorial to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Hoover Chan, celebrating his many contributions to science, mentorship, and community. We welcome all who knew Hoover—as a colleague, mentor, friend, or inspiration—to come together in remembrance and appreciation.

In addition to the June 18 memorial, Smith-Kettlewell will carry forward Dr. Chan’s desire to connect the vision research community by sponsoring the maintenance and moderation of CVNet. We are also honoring his legacy through a new campaign to support research in vision science.
