Abstract
John Taylor will begin by introducing Sterling Adaptives, their mission, and how their specialists support individuals with vision loss. He will walk us through a variety of adaptive technology devices and software, explaining the benefits of each and how they can meet specific needs in daily life.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about available low-vision and Braille technologies
- See demonstrations of devices and software
- Explore tools through hands-on time
- Ask questions and receive clear, personalized guidance
- Understand how adaptive technology can support independence and continued engagement in meaningful activities
Our hope for this session is to help community members discover tools that can make daily tasks easier, expand independence, and support the activities they love.
